Boxes and trays
“Tea for two” tray
I designed this tray as a graduation present for my daughter, to accommodate a pair of antique cups and saucers. Cherry, walnut, and ash accents, 2021. Finished with Osmo Polyx Oil, a zero-VOC finished designed for hardwood floors, for scratch and water resistance.
“VIP” pencil box
Consider, please, the pencil. Simple, self-contained, self-correcting, sustainable; it conforms to your needs with the whisk of a knife and practically disappears when it’s finished. Can you say that about your phone? Please. Not every writing instrument is a Very Important Pencil, but those that are deserve this box.
Cherry, walnut, and ash accents, finished with Osmo Polyx Oil, 2021.
Desk “sleigh”
A desk organizer with flowing curves and repurposed antique glassware, which doubles as a triptych vase for flowers. The wood is chosen to show off the glass, and the exact shape is determined by the size and shape of the found glassware. Shown here are sapele with ash accents and ruby glass and cherry with walnut accents and blue glass.
