Renewed Day By Day / Five-Lined Skink (5x7))
A five-lined skink climbing among intertwined flowers. The design is inspired by Pennsylvania Dutch folk art, but the lizard comes from my own garden.
Carved by hand with a chip-carving knife and finished with shellac. The frame is also hand-carved before finishing with milk paint and walnut oil. Measures 5×7 inches (roughly 6×8 framed).
