Lovebirds (8x10)
Two birds facing each other over a fanciful flower, perched among and surrounded by a complex heart-shaped vine of flowers. A classic design of Pennsylvania Dutch folk art, and an excellent wedding or anniversary present!
Carved by hand with a chip-carving knife and finished with shellac. The frame is also hand-carved before finishing with milk paint and walnut oil. Measures 8×10 inches (roughly 9×11 framed).
