Study of a great blue heron with spread wings, flying amid fancifully swirling flowers.
Carved by hand with a chip-carving knife and finished with shellac. The frame is also hand-carved before finishing with milk paint and walnut oil. Measures 6×6 inches (roughly 7×7 framed).
