Angry Wren
A wren chirps angrily from a branch of a flowering tree… probably because I keep cleaning its half-built nest out of my mailbox!
Carved by hand with a chip-carving knife and finished with shellac. The frame is also hand-carved before finishing with milk paint and walnut oil. Measures 6×6 inches (roughly 7×7 framed).
