Arched-bevel footstool
With its angled legs, this stool is sturdy enough to serve as a toddler’s seat or a step up to a high shelf. Features octagonal legs (drawn from the tradition of Welsh “stick chairs”) and a seat edge with an arched underbevel carved with a drawknife. Shown here in walnut and white oak.
